We're on desktop software now; is switching to the cloud hard?
No. DiamondTrack Online runs in any web browser, so there's nothing to install and no servers to maintain. Most customers are up and running within days. Our support team handles the heavy lifting with you, and you can import your existing inventory and customer lists directly from Excel or another locally-installed application.
Is my data secure in the cloud?
Yes. Your data is protected with advanced encryption, firewalls, and continuous monitoring, and it's stored redundantly across multiple data centers, so it's safer than a single in-house server or desktop PC that can fail, be lost, or be stolen. Security patches and backups happen automatically, with no action needed on your end.
Do I own my data, and can I get it out?
Always. Your data belongs to you, never us. You can export inventory, transactions, and customer records to Excel at any time, and you're never locked in.
Does it work on Mac, tablets, and phones?
Yes. Because DiamondTrack Online runs in the browser, it works on PC, Mac, tablets, and smartphones — anywhere you have an internet connection.
Does it handle more than loose diamonds?
Yes. DiamondTrack Online manages loose stones, parcels and melee, lab-grown diamonds, fancy colored diamonds, gemstones, finished jewelry, mountings, and watches, all in one system. It supports jewelry manufacturing with component costing and mixed inventory, plus automatic certificate data and images from GIA, IGI, GCAL, AGS, HRD, and EGL.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No. DiamondTrack Online is month-to-month with no long-term commitment. You can upgrade, downgrade, or add users as your business changes, and you're never locked into a multi-year agreement.
